Price and commercial guidelines

Crude oil price in the international market is influenced by a range of factors, including political, economic, climatological, energy policies, regulations, supply-demand movements, and competition.

Based on energy regulation, specifically, the Hydrocarbons Law, the Hydrocarbons Revenue Law, their respective regulations, requirements issued by the Coordinated Regulatory Entities on Energy Matters and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit in their respective competencies, as well as the applicable scope regarding international regulation to carry out the sale of crude oil abroad and the determination of prices, which nowadays are determined through formulae that ponder a basket of international references and an adjustment term (K Factor). Such adjustment terms are modified monthly, based on a technical commercial analysis of conditions rising in the international markets.
