Norteamérica, S.A. de C.V., PMI Ducto de Juárez, S. de R.L. de C.V., and Holdings Holanda Services, B.V.), collectively referred to as PMI, have detected various attempts of identity theft (phishing) and internet fraud (scam) related to the alleged offer of Mexican crude oil in the international market, international tenders related to natural gas, medical equipment, and other topics. Additionally, fake letters and false social media profiles involving PMI, have also been identified.
PMI completely disassociates itself from these communications and from individuals impersonating the identity of personnel or directors of these companies, engaging in conduct that could constitute crimes.

Fraud identification:
- Impersonators operate on B2B (Business-to-Business) portals with domains in regions with low data protection.
- The names and data provided in these messages are usually false and do not match those of PMI.
- Be wary of any commercial communication that does not come from the domain @pmicim.com.
- PMI does not have verified official social media accounts.
- All official communication related to PMI is conducted exclusively through authorized institutional channels, and its information is published exclusively on its website www.pmi.com.mx.
Security tips:
- Be suspicious of messages with prices significantly different from market prices and verify the addresses and phone numbers provided.
- Do not make advance payments or provide personal or financial information without being sure of the recipient's identity.
Keep in mind that these frauds often originate in other countries, complicating their traceability, investigation and resolution.
