​Petróleos Mexicanos is a 100% shareholder of the company P.M.I. Holdings Petróleos España, S.L. (PMI HPE), formerly known as P.M.I. Holdings, N.V., which was a holding company incorporated in Curaçao, under the laws of the Netherlands Antilles on July 7th, 1988. In 2005 it changed its name to P.M.I. Holdings Petróleos España, S.L.U., as well as its address and nationality to Spain. The company has a branch in Singapore, through which it provides services to PMI Trading DAC (affiliate company of Petróleos Mexicanos) related to the marketing of products in Asia. Such services include: market analysis, feasibility studies, business provision, administrative, economic, commercial and consulting services and commercial liaison with Asian counterparties, as well as other activities related to the marketing of oil and its derivative products.
